POSITIVE PARTICIPATION
ICWAP launched the “Positive Participation” forum. This is a forum for networks and positive women from the region to exchange information, ideas and strategies and to participate in dialogues about topics such as universal access, prevention, treatment and health care; gender inequity, violence and rights, including sexual and reproductive rights of women living with HIV. It is aimed at countries such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Fiji, the Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam.

ICWAP staff met Emmanuel Delhi’s hospital association with the intent of jointly addressing the issues of women who inject drugs.
REAL STIGMA
ICWAP joined the work of IPPF to develop a stigma index in India.
GENDER ISSUES
ICWAP was invited to participate in ICPD+15 (Cairo+15). In the meeting, there was a presentation about Women and Gender and AIDS. The presentation focused on gender standards and gender violence, which put women and girls at risk of HIV and increased vulnerability within the AIDS program.
