STRENGTHS
This year ICW Latina worked in two regional projects to strengthen the Secretariat and the National Chapters.
One of them, financed by UNFPA, allowed to convene regional meetings and to guarantee ICW Latina at international events.
With the other, and thanks to funds from the Ford Foundation, 50 women were trained in each one of the 18 countries where the national chapters are constituted. The issues addressed were: sexual reproductive health, gender and advocacy with decision makers from where strategic alliances that help in the involvement of women from ICW Latina in the different decision-making spaces at national level were generated.

TEAM
Latin women have been working with the Inter-American Parliamentary Group to provide legislative strength to the national answers of the 18 countries where we operate. Progress is being made in national action plans that will be executed or made a reality from Latin American parliaments.
