CYWAG: Join Our Vibrant Network of Young Women and Girls!

We want young women like you to join us!

Are you a young woman of adolescent girl living with HIV, aged between 15 and 30 and passionate about key issues and challenges affecting adolescent girls and young women living with HIV? We have an opportunity for you!

The International Community of Women living with HIV (ICW), Chapter of Young Women and Girls (CYWAG) is looking for a vibrant team of young women and girls aged 15–30 to join the chapter representing young women and girls around the globe in advocating for the rights of young women and adolescent girls in regards to HIV management and prevention.

Adolescent girls and young women have been in the HIV response discourse, noting that 60% of all new HIV infections globally are by this specific population.

Young women and girls are diverse, with specific needs and challenges, and at the same time unique strengths in contributing to the elimination of the HIV epidemic.

Meaningful involvement and engagement of girls and young women is not only key but has provided better outcomes in interventions tailored for us. CYWAG offers an opportunity for not only representation of women living with HIV, but also leadership,
mentorship and personal growth in advocacy. It’s a safe space to meet peers, interact, share experience and build a network of young women leaders in the HIV response.

Registration is now open for young women and girls living with HIV.
